NEW MYL Rule for Boys Games

For Level 1/2 Only

• When the goalie has possession of the ball within the crease, opposing players must remain at least 5 yards outside of the crease until the goalie has either initiated a pass or exited the crease with the ball.
• Rationale/Spirit of the Rule: Give goalies at this level clear opportunity to throw the ball or exit the crease without being swarmed by the defense. Hard enough to get kids to play goalie at this level, if they make a save/gain possession lets make it easier for them to start the clear.
