Select Team Registration is open now through February 9th.
THIS PAGE IS FOR TOWN ADMINISTRATORS TO REGISTER A TEAM FOR THE 2026 SELECT SEASON.
Select Team Fee Increase for 2026
The MYL Board of Directors has recently voted to increase Select Team registration fees for the 2026 season. Team fees are increasing by $200 per team. This is the first increase in Select team fees since 2023. The 2026 increase will allow the MYL board to operate with a non-profit budget while increasing support services and operational efficiencies for the Select League. This includes the addition of the Director of Select League Operations to the MYL Operations staff. Registration fees for 2026: Boys $1495 per team and Girls $895 per team.
Create the team on your town website first
Towns using Demosphere for your local town site, you MUST create your select team on your site FIRST, and use the team's Universal ID to register the team for the MYL 2026 Boys or Girls Select Season.
Towns NOT using a local Demosphere site, register the team and leave the Universal ID blank and the system will create one.
Combined Town Program Team Waivers and Rules:

Combined town teams MUST submit AND have the waiver approved BEFORE registering your team.

Deadline to submit a Combined Town Program Team Waiver: SUNDAY JANUARY 25, 2026. There will be no exceptions to this requirement.

Waivers submitted by the deadline will be reviewed within 7 days of the date.

REGISTERING A SELECT TEAM

- Boys Select Teams Registration CLICK HERE to access the Boys Team Registreation Page
- GIRLS Select Teams Registration CLICK HERE to access the Girls Team Registration Page
- On the left side of the page, select the appropriate dropdowns-
- Competition --> Boys OR Girls Select
- Season --> Boys OR Girls Select 2026
- The third drop down, "Grouping", select the Grade Grouping (L5/6 Grade or L7/8 Grade)
- "Identify Team" Section
- Team Universal ID - Paste in the team's Universal ID from your town's site.and press "tab" or click somewhere else on the page and the team's info will populate automatically.
- If you are NOT using a Demosphere site for your town, leave this box BLANK and fill in the Club, Team Type, Team Gender and Team Age in the other boxes.
- Club - Find and select your town program from the dropdown. Combined program teams must select ONE Town to be associated with this team for schedule sync and team pages.
- Team Type - Should be pre-populated with BOYS OR GIRLS SELECT (change from the drop down if needed)
- Team Gender - Should be pre-populated (select from the drop down if needed)
- Team Age - Should be pre-populated based on Grouping Selected. Verify it is correct before continuing.
- Team Universal ID - Paste in the team's Universal ID from your town's site.and press "tab" or click somewhere else on the page and the team's info will populate automatically.
- CLICK NEXT
- You will NOT enter any team/field/field availability questions during registration. You will be asked for the Name and Email of the person who will answer schedule/field availability questions. This person will be sent a Select Scheduling Form on February 1.
- You will NOT be selecting Division placement. The Select Committees will be assigning Divisions. An initial assignment list will be released the week of JANUARY 19 and teams will have the option to submit a WAIVER to ask reconsideration for their team to play in a higher or lower division.
- Provide Coaching staff and team contact info.
- Answer if you are a Combined Program Team and identify the town you are combining with.
- Read an agree to 3 rules on division placement, players from other towns, and rosters
- On the Check Out page, select "TEAM MANAGER" as your role.
- You will be asked for payment for the team ($1495 for Boys Teams, $895 for Girls Teams). If you select Pay By Check, you MUST mail a check by Feb 9 to: Mass Youth Lacrosse; 11 Bay Colony Dr
